Sextant Technology Ltd was contracted to provide technical advice on the impacts of gillnet fisheries on non-target species in 2010. This programme will characterise gillnet fisheries globally and assess the impacts of these fisheries on marine turtles, birds, mammals and selected shark species listed under the Convention for Migratory Species.
